This story was my first attempt at writing fanfiction, at writing fiction at all (if we forget the few embarrassing episodes of mine below the age of ten). I just started with a vague idea and no outline. No wonder I got stuck, it was a miracle that I got that far. I still like to look at the story sometimes and smile about myself. While I still believe that the idea behind the story is interesting I don't think that I will ever finish the story.
If my use of the English language makes you cringe I can only excuse it because English is not my first language and this was a work in progress without any beta-reading.

The Eye of the World is still my favourite among the Wheel of Time books. It appeals so much to me because Rand and his friends survive with ta'veren luck and often sheer Two River stubborness the traps laid by their powerful enemies despite being still unexperienced and vulnerable. Let's face it, the potential for disaster in EotW was enormous. Well, I thought, what if disaster had struck... I finished the prologue and some chapters. And then I got stuck.
